Hey! I’m Aileen. I’m a fashion stylist and author of over 20 Paper Doll books. When I was eight ears old, my mom bought me a paper doll kit. This was so different from my other toys. I could use my imagination and pick the outfits I think suit the doll best.

Yes, just like a fashion designer would do! Then I draw more outfits that weren’t included in the kit to complete her style.

That simple paper toy had a huge impact on my life as an adult. My love of beauty, style, and illustration helped me become who I am today, an illustrator and fashion stylist.

Almost 25 years later, when I became a mom, I got back into the kids world. One day, I searched the Internet while looking for that paper doll toy I loved to play with as a child. To my surprise, there was no paper doll kit to find.

On that day, I opened my laptop and started the first doll sketch. I really wanted her to look modern, smiling, and with human proportions. I couldn’t stop and kept drawing dolls in all kinds of shapes and skin tones.

I was eager to pass on the joy of paper doll play to the next generation. When I published my first book, “Fashion paper dolls for daughter or granddaughter” it quickly became a hit on Amazon. Today, I am proud to say that millions of kids and adults have discovered their love to style and fashion through my paper dolls.
